Our super fun summer camp builds confidence and healthy relationships.  Our camp counselors are experts at building self esteem and confidence in each child.  Our facility features 2" SWAIN Olympic mats (the best), an air conditioned environment, punching bags, kicking targets, crash mats, punch mitts, and tons of learning fun.  It's a perfect way to have fun for summer and is designed for beginners with no experience all the way up to the experienced martial artist looking to take their skills to the next level.

At USA Martial Arts Phoenix AZ  our mission for the past 19 years in Phoenix AZ has been to help all of our students, regardless of age, gender and ability, reach their personal best through progressive and exciting martial arts training. We have taught thousands of students from age 4 to 84 with our special blend of fun, self defense education and fitness.

Kids Karate

There are many reasons for children to become involved in the Martial Arts. At USA Martial Arts have developed an award-winning program based on the traditional martial arts of Taekwondo, Karate and Kung Fu for kids called Kids Karate. The Kids Karate system is based on a life skills and character development concept in addition to coordination and fitness skills. The foundation for our curriculum are monthly themes such as:

• Self Awareness
• Courtesy
• Integrity
• Self Esteem
• Dedication
• Citizenship
• Family Values
• Teamwork

In addition to monthly themes, our system includes the unique Black Belt Success rewards system. Kids are rewarded special stripes, patches, stickers as well as belts. These incentives are awarded for outstanding performance in karate class, school, home, or at a tournament competition. As the Kids receive more stars, different colored patches are available to signify and recognize their accomplishments.

Little Tigers Taekwondo Phoenix

In addition to our internationally recognized Kids Karate program, we offer the Little Tigers Taekwondo Program. The Little Tiger program was developed specifically for preschool age children ages 4 through 7. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as integrity, courtesy, self discipline, self control, respect, and citizenship. In addition, the program is designed to improve children's coordination and enhance their ability to listen, learn, focus and follow directions. USA Martial Arts Phoenix classes are taught using the most safe, fun and motivating teaching methods available for this age level. USA Martial Arts Phoenix Children's Little Tigers Taekwondo program works in cooperation with the Kids Karate program, thereby instilling the same important monthly themes and values.
Just like the Kids Karate program, Little Tigers Taekwondo have their own unique belt and reward system.  Incentives are earned in the same way as the Kids Karate training, with modifications in recognition of the preschool age of the child.   The rank and testing system used by Taekwondo Tigers is slightly different than that of the Kids Karate curriculum. Little Tigers Taekwondo can earn themed animal patches to display on their belts.
