In addition to our USA Martial Arts & Self Defense programs that includes fundamental kickboxing training as part of the integrative curriculum, we offer a stand-alone Kickboxing Program for men, women and teens you can join without having to enroll in the USA Martial Arts program.  It's called iLoveKickboxingPhoenix.

Kickboxing and Muay Thai Blend: You will learn the art and application of American Kickboxing with a Muay Thai blend. This allows us to incorporate elbow and knee techniques and Krav Maga military combatives concepts not traditionally seen in American Kickboxing, your local gym or corner karate dojo.

iLoveKickboxingPhoenix: All of our traditional USA Martial Arts children's and family classes have a focus on life skills, self-discipline, and self-confidence and our iLoveKickboxingPhoenix classes are no different. Similar to Kids Karate and Children Taekwondo, we emphasize non-violent conflict resolution. But for those rare instances where individuals may need to defend themselves, our kickboxing curriculum teaches effective defensive skills that are easy to remember and will help to ensure that you are prepared, mentally and physically, to neutralize physical threats.

iLoveKickboxingPhoenix class incorporates a heavy use of water-based bags and focus mitts for skills training. We also offer the opportunity to upgrade through belt recognition - the choice is yours.

In our children's program, Stripes are awarded for class attendance and this helps to motivate children to keep setting goals and continue learning. The values your child will learn through our Kids Fun Kickboxing program will ensure that they have the confidence and the character qualities to make the right choices when confronted with life’s challenges. KidsLoveMartialArtsPhoenix Kickboxing students become leaders and role models among their friends and peers while learning effective self-defense skills and developing great physical fitness habits.

Teen and Adult Kickboxing: The USA Martial Arts is a classical mixed martial arts program best described as integrative martial arts.  It combines the disciplines of classical as well as modern martial arts without compromising the deep philosophical foundations, lessons in virtue nor the modern practical self defense applications.  Our USA Martial Arts Phoenix program is structured to teach defensive concepts and techniques used in all ranges of stand-up self-protection while getting students into the best shape of their lives. This is not “cardio kickboxing” but you will break a sweat.

We encourage a detailed focus on technical precision, attribute development and muscle conditioning. This class incorporates a heavy use of water-based bags and focus mitts as students advance.  Attribute development drills and "aliveness in training" are evidence of our Jeet Kune Do influence.  A conceptual approach to teaching with practical pragmatism is evidence from the system drawing on the strengths of Krav Maga.  The ground skills pay tribute to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and scientific submission wrestling.

But is it a good workout? 
Our program is a total fitness package combining strength, endurance and flexibility. We incorporate the latest exercise physiology, which assists in the development of all your muscular systems, building greater strength and definition. You get excellent cardiovascular conditioning, expanding your heart and lung capacity while you burn off calories. The result is a tremendous increase in energy and stamina to take on whatever comes your way. Each class also includes a variety of stretching exercises that help you to avoid injuries and keep you feeling young, fit and energized. 

Students are encouraged to do their best and challenge their limits within reason. Understanding that most of our members will have to go to work or attend school the following day, we emphasis quality over quantity with all exercises and encourage adjusting the intensity level to fit the experience, skill and age of each individual. Our program does not support the notion of “no pain – no gain”.  This way we can help everyone progress at a pace that best suits them. Essentially treating everyone the same by treating them differently. The philosophy of this program is to always have consistency over intensity.  If you want a greater sense of self-confidence and an effective workout without having to compete in a ring or cage – then this is the ideal program for you!
