USA Martial Arts Phoenix has been training men, women and children of all ages in Arizona since 1992.  Founded by the vision of a devoted Master who devoted his life to the study, practice and teaching of the martial arts.  He traveled the world to study with the very best, and assembled a top notch team of instructors to carry out his vision of a unique martial arts school in Arizona USA.

The first location, TAEKWONDO ACADEMY was located in All American Gymnastics in Mesa.  It expanded into a full time multiple martial arts facility called THE ACADEMY OF ASIAN MARTIAL ARTS in 1993.  In 1995 the AAMA Martial Arts school merged with America's Best Karate.  1997 a collaboration of top instructors opened a Glendale NOTTINGHAM & GORON'S USA MARTIAL ARTS expanding to six affiliate schools as USA MARIAL ARTS Ahwatukee, Mesa, Glendale, Chandler, Globe, Peoria and Paddock Lake Wisconsin.

The unique integrative (mixed) martial arts curriculum was developed by a team of Grandmasters, Masters and Martial Arts Champions infusing and traditional culture while embracing effective teaching and self-defense techniques.  The directive for the USA Martial Arts curriculum has always been to honor tradition but not be bound by it.  This unique approach enables students to experience and benefit from the life affirming values, wisdom and venerated heritage of classical martial arts while embracing the most effective elements of various disciplines, styles and systems.  This is why USA Martial Arts has earned the respect of traditionalists and official recognition in Asia as well as respect from practical innovators.
